My approach to photography is all about capturing real, unposed moments.

 

I focus on capturing the real moments. I’d rather your photos feel natural than perfectly posed. Some of my favorite images happen in between everything else!

Frequently asked questions

What does a session with you feel like?

Sessions are relaxed and easy going. I’ll guide you throughout when needed, but there’s no pressure for everyone to pose perfectly and stand still! Especially with kids, I’ve found the best photos usually happen once everyone settles in, plays a little, and stops thinking too much about the camera.

Where do sessions usually take place?

Most families choose either an outdoor location or to take photos in their home and backyard, where everyone feels comfortable. I’m always happy to help choose a spot based on the kind of atmosphere you’re drawn to and what feels most natural for your family.

How do you guide us during the session?

I keep direction very gentle and natural. Instead of stiff posing, I’ll usually guide you through small movements and interactions so the session feels comfortable and the photos still feel like you.
